I’ve been slowly acquiring
the scattered accoutrements
of domesticity
a cheese grater here
a dust buster there
in the hope that
when I have completed the set
it will form a fully grown adult.
John Wilson
John Wilson is 22 and writes poetry about the stupid stuff that happens to him in his boring life, or sometimes about what he’s seen on TV. He’s American, but has been living in the UK long enough to know better. He’s currently getting an MA in Poetry and Publishing from Kingston University, and is one of the four student editors of KU’s RiPPLE magazine (which comes out soonish, everyone should buy eight copies).
